About Us

St Andrews Business Club is an association of people engaged in business who want to be involved in the furthering the interests of St Andrews and North-East Fife by doing business in the area.

Our strength is the breadth of our membership, who are involved in a wide range of business interests, local, national and in some cases global.

Our goal is complementary to the other business associations in St Andrews, and we have the broad objective of helping to stimulate interest in enterprise for the benefit of the local economy, recognising the strengths and advantages of St Andrews locally and the brand influence of the St Andrews name throughout the world.

St Andrews Business Club has been in existence since 1950 and during its history it has attracted many prominent speakers from different walks of life, including such names as Sir Menzies Campbell MP, Andy Irvine, Sir Tom Farmer, Frank Mulholland QC, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Scotland Lord Ian Duncan and Bank of England Agent for Scotland William Dowson.

We hold between events between September and June. See the Events page for details.

We are always keen to welcome new members with the same desire to see St Andrews and North-East Fife continue to flourish and who may also bring a different perspective on business, the current issues we face and the opportunities to be grasped. It is also an excellent networking opportunity, and we always seek to impart an element of humour and fun into the proceedings.

If you want to become involved or simply find out more about what we do, contact us using the methods listed here. We look forward to hearing from you!
